Time Drops #148: Month Of September 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of August 30, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. For the fourth month in a row now, Just the Ticket has surpassed my long-standing goal of ten thousand views, and as you can see in the "Last Month" category, as of yesterday evening,  August is just over fifteen thousand. A final tally will be included in Wednesday's Zenescope - Omnibusted . So, yet another big thank you to my (growing) reading/sharing audience for continuing to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, being who you are, and doing what you do (unless what you do is farm and steal content for AI training). It makes the challenges of real life weigh a little less because professional responsibility has not run out of ways to complicate my existence and wear down the façade that I am a well-adjusted, competent leader who can handle anything, do everything, and knows what it feels like to have a shit-eating grin on my face. Chocolate, not chocolate...

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of August 2, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. For the third month in a row,  Just the Ticket  has surpassed my long-standing goal of ten thousand views, and as you can see in the "Last Month" category, the final tally for  July  is just over eleven thousand. So, yet another big thank you to my (growing) reading/sharing audience for continuing to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, being who you are, and doing what you do. It makes the challenges of real life weigh a little less because the heat and constant overnight smoke are testing my physical health, and workplace nonsense continues to test my sanity, patience, and stress threshold on five out of seven days that end with "day." How is one supposed to maintain a positive attitude and customer service standard with a braindead subordinate to babysit? How is one supposed to make more money with less product and fewer scheduled opportunities to make...

Time Drops #146: Month Of July, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of June 28, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. As of yesterday evening (which Blogger counts as Saturday morning because time zones exist), it is still June  until Wednesday, but this month has exceeded my expectations in terms of views (because I decided not to have any, and to run from my emotionally draining work life, only to bring my feelings on stay-cation with me and be a useless, volatile asshole to my family for an entire week). Yeah, I'm still peachy-fucking cheeks right now; thanks for asking. The important thing (besides acknowledging  introspectively that shitty circumstances make for shitty people) is that  Just the Ticket  is having a second month in a row of surpassing my long-standing goal of ten thousand views, and will likely land just shy of fifteen thousand. So, yet another big thank you to my (growing) reading/sharing audience for continuing to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the int...

Time Drops #145: Month Of June, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of May 31, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. As of Friday evening (which Blogger counts as Saturday morning because time zones exist), it is still May for one more day, but the month I get older has gone far beyond my expectations in terms of views, despite my professional life seeing to it that I have very little to give on a daily basis because I now supervise a man-child who insists on giving me the size, shape, and color every time he goes to the bathroom (which is three times per shift if I'm lucky), can't read, can't remember anything, can't multitask or understand directions, interprets jokes with the same level of comprehension as Drax the Destroyer, can't gender voices by sound, doesn't know how to use a phone, probably doesn't have a Food Handler card, and once asked me if anyone is working in the department he's working in . So I'm peachy-fucking cheeks at the moment; thanks for asking. ...

Time Drops #144: Month Of May, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of May 3, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. You may have been expecting to see my review of Godzilla vs Megalon drop yesterday, and I did start writing it on Thursday after a grueling day of misinformation, missed connections, and mass transit, but I decided to put it off for a week and give my brain a few days of rest in preparation for the month when I get older, which it now is, so I have to come up with a plan for the content to come in the weeks ahead. As for the month gone by, according to the following image, Just the Ticket finished April nearly three hundred views short of my goal of ten thousand, as of 5pm Pacific Standard Time on April 30. But that figure is nothing to sneeze at (seasonal allergy pun not intended, but I'll take it), and my reading/sharing audience continues to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, so thank you all for doing what you do. All I can do at this point is reset my goal for a n...

Time Drops #143: Month Of April, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of March 29, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. It doesn't benefit me to repeat myself about how the last two weeks of March have gone, so all I'm going to say here is that because April is when we have the day of fools and Easter, most of the content this month will be related to that, so expect some more Lovecraft, Dexter, and a few isekai reviews in the weeks to come. Weekly  TBT '26  pushes will still be a thing on my socials as I promote my old posts one Thursday at a time (as life permits) because you seem to really like that, but aside from this post containing the April calendar, I'll most likely not do weekly  Time Drops  this month (just like March) so I can slow the  Just the Ticket Countdown to One Thousand  and give myself more time to create with quality. Also, thank you again for all for your views and support (the Road to 10k Views per month is still a path I resolve to travel this year ...

Time Drops #142: Week Of March 1, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of March 1, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. It doesn't really look like it, but I intend March to be a more chill month than February was, with only one Anime Spotlight and the majority of my Zenescope - Omnibusted posts being compilations so that I can actually make progress on my big milestone project and focus on Goj -Year- ra reviews and getting ahead on my April content. I did take time last weekend messing around with HeroMachine to provide supplemental materials for the big project, but nothing fruitful emerged, so I'll have to keep at it a little at a time. Weekly  TBT '26  pushes will still be a thing on my socials as I promote my old posts one Thursday at a time because you seem to really like that, but aside from this post containing the March calendar, I'll most likely not do weekly Time Drops this month so I can slow the Just the Ticket Countdown to One Thousand and give myself more time to create w...

Time Drops #141: Week Of February 22, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of February 22, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. It's the final week of the  Month Of Love , Ticketholders, and I am well ahead of the game, aside from having to stop my binge of May I Ask For One Final Thing? to edit this post with only the final episode remaining because it's Friday evening as I'm doing so. I didn't want to stop because I was really enjoying myself, but sometimes (more often than we'd like, really), happiness must take a backseat to obligation. I want to keep this brief so I can get back to the fun part of my recreational "job," but I must offer apologies for the audio quality of the  Like A Storm / Dem Franchize Boyz  mashup in my St. Valentine's Day MassacReMixtape playlist , and not noticing it sooner. I had hoped to fix the...mashup issue and have a more pleasant version ready to include in this post, but the apps I have available to me, given my limited time and financial re...

Time Drops #140: Week Of February 15, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of February 15, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. Surprisingly, this past week went off almost without a hitch (a saying that apparently originated from nautical terminology for a particular kind of knot, or for any knot getting stuck or snagged, which is funny because Google gives a successful wedding—also referred to as "getting hitched" or "tying the knot"—as something that "went off without a hitch," which makes the wedding unsuccessful ‽) even though it was slightly more packed with new content than usual. There were a few days where I had to promote late because of work and energy level, and I was still editing my MassacReMixtape post  on the morning of publication, but otherwise, it was smooth sailing (which also feels like a paradoxical saying because the wind you take advantage of to sail affects the waves, too, but I've been told to avoid colloquialisms in internationally visible content, ...

Time Drops #139: Week Of February 8, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of February 8, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. This week and weekend have been absolute crunch as I prepare for the week ahead. And speaking of weak in the head, before I began writing this, I had just finished watching A Clockwork Orange  for the first time in preparation for my Six "Sextant" L'Orange Redeux post on Tuesday, and my brain is spinning with ideas of how to approach her re-worked origin story. But before that, I have to watch the last six episodes of My Dress-Up Darling Season Two for Monday's Anime Spotlight (which I haven't started writing yet) and after that, I have to read Robyn Hood Volume One for Wednesday and edit together a playlist video and an  Instagram  short for Thursday's new piece of content. Also, I messed up in my King Kong vs Godzilla review when I said that I would be reviewing Mothra vs Godzilla on Friday because anxiety and crunch insomnia are bad for my sense of ...
