Time Drops #147: Month Of August, 2026

For the third month in a row, Just the Ticket has surpassed my long-standing goal of ten thousand views, and as you can see in the "Last Month" category, the final tally for July is just over eleven thousand.
So, yet another big thank you to my (growing) reading/sharing audience for continuing to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, being who you are, and doing what you do.
It makes the challenges of real life weigh a little less because the heat and constant overnight smoke are testing my physical health, and workplace nonsense continues to test my sanity, patience, and stress threshold on five out of seven days that end with "day." How is one supposed to maintain a positive attitude and customer service standard with a braindead subordinate to babysit? How is one supposed to make more money with less product and fewer scheduled opportunities to make said money? How many paper sticks does one have to shove up one's ass to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop? The world may never know....
But we will find out if I can watch and review a hundred and twenty episodes of One Piece in a month, because I'm finally tackling the Dressrosa Arc. The idea is to watch and blog about roughly twenty-four episodes per week, but if I have to change the plans I laid out in the calendar for any reason, I guess I'll just have to do that. Wish me luck!
In addition to that, I'll be doing more Millennium Era Goj-Year-ra and Unleashed era Omnibusted/Retrospective content, and putting in more work on my big milestone project (which, I feel comfortable telling you now that the countdown is a bit closer, has been mentioned in these Time Drops posts all along).
The Road to 10k Views per month is still a path I resolve to travel as many times as possible this year, and I'm glad to not be walking it alone.

Just the Ticket #195: I Know What You Did Last Summer

Article by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster Who Doesn't Know What You Did Last Summer. I did not like these movies, Ticketholders! I mean, I liked the first two when they came out almost thirty years ago, which is why the third one disappointed me so much that I only ever watched it once and didn't even want to watch it for this review (but I watched the Children Of the Corn franchise and most of The Curse movies, so it's nothing by comparison). The second time I watched the first two movies, I thought the core four were unsympathetic, the villain reveal came out of nowhere, the second movie was obvious and stupid, and Julie James was the worst final girl of all time. But has my opinion changed with time, book knowledge , and exposure to eight hours of Amazon-produced zoomer torture ? Time Drops #120: Week of September 28, 2025

Content Calendar Announcement, Week of September 28, 2025 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. I've kind of hit a point of aimlessness, Ticketholders. Like, I know that I'm going to review the two good Urban Legend movies in October, and I have the whole Wonderland thing scheduled for the rest of the year, plus X-Men and the It's Alive! movies for December...but with I Know What You Did Last Summer behind me and 2026 looming in the distance (and so many shows, anime, and movies that I want or "need" to catch up on, and the major projects that I have allowed to languish on my list), I feel that dangerous mix of "what next?" and "why bother?" gnawing at the back of my brain. So it's time to start slowing down so I can catch up, and get things in a more organized state than just a list. That means a scant few Anime Spotlight entries and only one Just the Ticket in October and nothing but Zenescope content in November. Otherwise...
