Time Drops #140: Week Of February 15, 2026

Surprisingly, this past week went off almost without a hitch (a saying that apparently originated from nautical terminology for a particular kind of knot, or for any knot getting stuck or snagged, which is funny because Google gives a successful wedding—also referred to as "getting hitched" or "tying the knot"—as something that "went off without a hitch," which makes the wedding unsuccessful‽) even though it was slightly more packed with new content than usual. There were a few days where I had to promote late because of work and energy level, and I was still editing my MassacReMixtape post on the morning of publication, but otherwise, it was smooth sailing (which also feels like a paradoxical saying because the wind you take advantage of to sail affects the waves, too, but I've been told to avoid colloquialisms in internationally visible content, so I'll stop now).
My main focus this weekend is to watch the rest of Tales Of Wedding Rings in time for Monday's Anime Spotlight (which I haven't started writing yet), the third romantic/harem series I had planned to review for the Month Of Love. Keep reading to see what else I have planned for the coming week, and I'll figure out some time to make progress on my big milestone project.
My March plans haven't changed any further (see the epic roadmap after the content calendar for current details), but I will continue to keep you updated on my progress on a weekly basis, and return to doing TBT '26 pushes on social media to promote my old posts one Thursday at a time (because communication and consistency will and should always matter, and you deserve to be rewarded with my expressions of my heart for being so awesome and supportive).

I mean, I liked the first two when they came out almost thirty years ago, which is why the third one disappointed me so much that I only ever watched it once and didn't even want to watch it for this review (but I watched the Children Of the Corn franchise and most of The Curse movies, so it's nothing by comparison). Zenescope - Omnibusted #36: Wonderland Volume One

As I begin November in need of some downtime to consume more media, get ahead of my December content (I'm halfway through Rascal Does Not Dream Of Santa Claus , and drafting its review, which is why I've just started editing this Omnibusted compilation the Monday before publication), and prepare for the very real possibility that Presidential stubbornness and partisan warfare will take a chainsaw to my financial stability because the majority population of my county, and my employer's customer base (who openly support, and voted twice for, the Great Pumpkin—there are multiple prominent signs in my town to that effect that would likewise benefit from a good chainsawing) are on government assistance (which no longer exists because no one currently in power has ever won Jenga before), I once again find myself at a loss for words when it comes to a proper editing job that requires more effort than the average ComiXology Trad...

Anime Spotlight #50: My Hero Academia (2025 Update)

When I originally began this update in late January, the fourth My Hero Academia film had not been made available to stream anywhere, so I was content to merely continue where my thoughts on Season Six left off originally and wrap up this post with Season Seven. Then, I realized that I was too far removed from those seasons for my review to sound or feel like anything but a Wikipedia summary, so I pushed things back to May so I could rewatch them, except that I was already working on my  Fishman Island and Punk Hazard reviews, so I didn't have time to do that, and there was all that stress surrounding my phone , and Vigilantes started airing...so I pushed things back again , deciding that I would set a hard deadline of August once I knew Vigilantes had ended and the fourth movie was available on streaming.
