Usopp in One Piece  has gone on a huge journey, not just from Syrup Village in East Blue through the Grand Line insanity and being trapped on a giant carnivorous flower for two years , and now into the New World ; but from being a liar and coward to just a coward , to a strategic coward and makeshift shipwright who wants to be a Brave Warrior Of the Sea , to someone who can stand toe-to-toe with Luffy, to a revolution-igniting superhero who can befriend giants and emotionally scar ghosts , to a man driven by survival to become the peak physical version of himself . Just a friendly, hypothetical warning for you before we set sail for the Second Piece of the Dressrosa Arc: sometimes, being a team player means having to play as the team while they hide, complain, blame you for their failures, and act stupid (or are stupid) because they claim to have it harder than you, whatever "it" may be and whether or not "it" actually exists. Do what you can and what you know is right because regardless of the burden expected of you, that is really all you can do. Patience and right will prevail in the end. I hope. When we last left the Dressrosa Arc , twenty-four episodes had elapsed, setting up the world-building, important characters, and plot points that could be relevant going forward. It's been a long time since the One Piece  Multi-Piece  graced the waves with my look at the Punk Hazard Arc (a.k.a. the short "half" of the Dressrosa Saga, a.k.a. the One Piece Running Simulator Arc). First up on the travel itinerary, even though I published it on Saturday, I chose to delay promoting the August Time Drops calendar so I could devote my time and energy to bingeing this week's chunk of the Dressrosa Arc, which, thanks to a decent portion of each episode being devoted to theme music (the high-energy "Wake Up" by AAA , accompanied by visuals of the Straw Hat Crew in flashy vacation attire fighting the massive supporting/fodder cast of Marines, gladiators, Pirates, and other villains, including an interlude dialogue exchange between Luffy and Blackbeard that may or may not actually impact the plot of the arc, but I don't know for sure ye...

In my neck of the woods (a phrase that is biologically impossible, if not also psychologically scarring to imagine in a literal, body horror sense, especially if you take into account the arboreal hydra that would be given shape by multiple points of view, but I dye grass when I'm overcaffeinated), I can breathe the smoky flames of Canada as we speak. But I did not choose this Anime Spotlight update for July because of some future-sighted state I achieved by tapping into a parallel Hell dimension; rather, it was because July is the month of independent rebellion (in at least two countries), which we celebrate with fireworks.
