Time Drops #143: Month Of April, 2026

It doesn't benefit me to repeat myself about how the last two weeks of March have gone, so all I'm going to say here is that because April is when we have the day of fools and Easter, most of the content this month will be related to that, so expect some more Lovecraft, Dexter, and a few isekai reviews in the weeks to come.
Weekly TBT '26 pushes will still be a thing on my socials as I promote my old posts one Thursday at a time (as life permits) because you seem to really like that, but aside from this post containing the April calendar, I'll most likely not do weekly Time Drops this month (just like March) so I can slow the Just the Ticket Countdown to One Thousand and give myself more time to create with quality.
Also, thank you again for all for your views and support (the Road to 10k Views per month is still a path I resolve to travel this year despite its bumps, blocks, and loops, and I'm glad to not be walking it alone, plus you've been engaging on a level I haven't seen before this year in my post-BlogPros era—by the way, I'm still chasing them around and even threatened legal action if they kept billing me for their non-services—and March numbers have absolutely crushed what we did in February), and please remember to comment at the bottom of my Blogger posts, Become A Ticketholder because I know you haven't yet, share and care wherever you can, help out my ad revenue as you read, and follow me on social media at the links below to like what you see and to receive the latest news on my content and calendars thereof.

I mean, I liked the first two when they came out almost thirty years ago, which is why the third one disappointed me so much that I only ever watched it once and didn't even want to watch it for this review (but I watched the Children Of the Corn franchise and most of The Curse movies, so it's nothing by comparison). The second time I watched the first two movies, I thought the core four were unsympathetic, the villain reveal came out of nowhere, the second movie was obvious and stupid, and Julie James was the worst final girl of all time. Anime Spotlight #50: My Hero Academia (2025 Update)

When I originally began this update in late January, the fourth My Hero Academia film had not been made available to stream anywhere, so I was content to merely continue where my thoughts on Season Six left off originally and wrap up this post with Season Seven. Then, I realized that I was too far removed from those seasons for my review to sound or feel like anything but a Wikipedia summary, so I pushed things back to May so I could rewatch them, except that I was already working on my  Fishman Island and Punk Hazard reviews, so I didn't have time to do that, and there was all that stress surrounding my phone , and Vigilantes started airing...so I pushed things back again , deciding that I would set a hard deadline of August once I knew Vigilantes had ended and the fourth movie was available on streaming. Zenescope - Omnibusted #36: Wonderland Volume One

As I begin November in need of some downtime to consume more media, get ahead of my December content (I'm halfway through Rascal Does Not Dream Of Santa Claus , and drafting its review, which is why I've just started editing this Omnibusted compilation the Monday before publication), and prepare for the very real possibility that Presidential stubbornness and partisan warfare will take a chainsaw to my financial stability because the majority population of my county, and my employer's customer base (who openly support, and voted twice for, the Great Pumpkin—there are multiple prominent signs in my town to that effect that would likewise benefit from a good chainsawing) are on government assistance (which no longer exists because no one currently in power has ever won Jenga before), I once again find myself at a loss for words when it comes to a proper editing job that requires more effort than the average ComiXology Trad...
