Time Drops #144: Month Of May, 2026

Content Calendar Announcement,
Week of May 3, 2026
by Sean Wilkinson,
a.k.a. The Ticketmaster.

You may have been expecting to see my review of Godzilla vs Megalon drop yesterday, and I did start writing it on Thursday after a grueling day of misinformation, missed connections, and mass transit, but I decided to put it off for a week and give my brain a few days of rest in preparation for the month when I get older, which it now is, so I have to come up with a plan for the content to come in the weeks ahead.
As for the month gone by, according to the following image, Just the Ticket finished April nearly three hundred views short of my goal of ten thousand, as of 5pm Pacific Standard Time on April 30.
But that figure is nothing to sneeze at (seasonal allergy pun not intended, but I'll take it), and my reading/sharing audience continues to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, so thank you all for doing what you do.
All I can do at this point is reset my goal for a new month and push ahead as time intended.
The Road to 10k Views per month is still a path I resolve to travel this year despite its bumps, blocks, and loops, and I'm glad to not be walking it alone.
Aside from content delays and dreams deferred, April brought massive news on three fronts that have been bugging me for various lengths of time, starting with BlogPros. They recently finished revamping their business model into a more expensive, corporate-oriented, AI-driven services package, and I was at last able to contact their new pre-sales division and not only get my subscription canceled, but get refunds for the last six months of non-service I "received," with their response time being a shockingly quick twenty-four hours.
Next, it seems like the much-delayed (and allegedly problematic to the point of fraud, exploitation, and worse, such that the Power Rangers fandom might incinerate it on principle like a late-70s homophobe with a disco record) release of Legend Of the White Dragon might finally have an official theatrical date of August 28. I'm still going to watch it, but the important question is how.
Finally and most hugely important, HeroMachine is back with a new Phoenix Edition that runs natively in your browser and has been getting updated all month long with new assets and features, all drawn by the GOAT, the MM&L, Mr. Jeff Hebert. I haven't touched it yet, but I do intend on using it to create lead-up content for my big milestone project.
It's all uphill from here (because that's been a three-month trend so far and Disco Stu doesn't advertise), so please remember to comment at the bottom of my Blogger posts, Become A Ticketholder because I know you haven't yet, share and care wherever you can, help out my ad revenue as you read, and follow me on social media at the links below to like what you see and to receive the latest news on my content and calendars thereof.
