Fan Theory Friday: Spidey vs. Chucky

Image
Article by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster You're probably wondering about the title (and confused by the clickbait potential of a Spider-Man/Chucky crossover), and there is a very greedy motivation behind it. Basically, I was planning to do a second  Theoretical Thursday , but BlogPros is limited to propagating one post per day, so I went with Fan Theory Friday instead. With regard to the "Spidey vs. Chucky" portion, there is no possibility of such a crossover ever existing with any degree of seriousness, quality, or legal feasibility, nor am I going to pit theories from these two intellectual properties against each other. As with most polarizing creative choices,  I picked it because it looked cool. So first and most popular right now, the official teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped this week: And, "Hello, Peter," is it a doozy! While everyone is jumping at shadows, blurs, and reflections that only last for a blink at a time, seeing Ve

What If? #3: The Death Of An Idea?

Welcome back, What If...? Watchers and Ticketholders! Some news for you all before we begin: Facebook and Twitter weren't cutting it for me, so I am now on Reddit at r/Illustrious_Owl_84 , as well as Tumblr at ticketmastersince2k4 . And thanks to my expanded social media presence, and help from the folks at BlogPros , my last post hit 200 views in less than a week! Still no real feedback on here, but I'm seeing traffic numbers that that I haven't seen in over a year, so keep those eyeballs tuned, folks! And if your eyeballs haven't yet tuned into the third episode of What If...? , get on Disney+ right now and start Watching, because there's a good idea behind it that deserves not to be Spoiled. It's amazing what can happen because of an idea, isn't it? A struggling Blogger can return to his prime. A president can capture electrical current with nothing but a key and a toy. Or a master spy can put together a team of extraordinary people from across all w

What If? #2: Star-Panther?

Welcome back, my tenacious Ticktholders! The topic of today's post is not the greatest episode of What If...?  in the world; it's just trying to be a tribute. Marvel couldn't remember the greatest What If...?    in the world, so they tried to make a trib-yooooot! * five minutes of Jack Black noises! * Umm.., sorry about that.... Actually, no, I'm not. My manic, pop-referential tangents are hilariously disturbing, and I get to crack myself up, even if no one else comes along for the ride. And strangely enough, a hilariously disturbing (but mostly disturbing) kidnapping is what kicks off this week's episode. You've probably guessed by now that I don't think very highly of the second episode of What If...? , and I'll get into the reasons why in just a bit. First, if you don't want to get spoiled, go watch it for reference or enjoyment before you read any further. New episodes drop every Wednesday on Disney+ , and there are supposed to be ten of them in

What If? #1: Captain Carter Were The First Episode?

Welcome to the Multiverse, Ticketholders! The first episode of Marvel Studios ' What If?  debuted on Disney+ this week, and your resident Ticketmaster is back on the case to serve as your official Watcher for what I heard will be a ten-week animated excursion into some of the innumerable possible scenarios that would have taken place, had a character in your favorite MCU property decided to do something...Variant. Remember to comment and hit those social media buttons at the end of this post, and if you haven't watched the first episode of  What If? , visit the app at the link above to get a subscription to my non-sponsoring overlords so you can catch up with the series. SPOILERS are incoming on your left, and I could do this all day, so let's assemble after the image. I realize from my coverage of Loki  over the last few months that I've been getting a lot of facts wrong, whether by making my posts heavy on summary, or just by trying to shove regularly-scheduled con
