Time Drops #29: Week Of August 14, 2023

As I said in last week's Time Drops, the content will be thin for the next few months. I've started working on my assignment for Change Management at WGU, which is another "fictional company is stuck in their ways and needs to be taught common sense" class. I could just say that they need to inject some flexibility into their organizational structure and culture, update their technology, and train and empower their employees to adapt to the company's growth, and be done with it. But because academia and irony, I have to present these flexible, innovative solutions by spending five pages adhering to and explaining rigid, antiquated, theoretical models. I miss making tens of millions of virtual dollars with my fake, ugly-ass racing bikes....

I seem to be doing alright for myself, though, as we're poised to pass twenty thousand views for the month.
