Vampires Are Made #25: Mirabelle

Article by Sean Wilkinson,
Transmuted HeroMachiner.

I suppose I should be careful about attributing myself with words that begin with "trans-". The president might shut down my blog and send me to a conversion camp in India because I'm part Cherokee and he's a complete imbecile.
But, fuck him (whether you read that with the intended comma or an extra "t," yes; both apply). And the same goes for the people who chose to discontinue Hanukkah and Halloween decorations at Party City because something, something, "Christian values," and where are my "National Puke On An Asshole's Face Day" decorations?
Oh; uh..., Happy early Halloween, Ticketholders! Sorry about that—or insert Demi Lovato reference here, because I meant every word—I tend to get woke and vulgar when I've had six hours of 5Hour Energy.
Wait; I have one more:
Anyway, I also used that extra energy to...Busta new HeroMachine design out for I Reincarnated As Prey In A Fantasy World, So I Charmed the Vampire Queen (still coming on Monday).
Mirabelle the mad scientist Bride is definitely the design that comes closest to the chat image, with the exception of her hair color being a pale blonde here, the lower half of the character being all new (because portraits just be like that sometimes), her hands not being melted (because AI just be like that, period), and my choice to exaggerate her collar a bit more.
Name:
 Mirabelle
Alias: Mira, "The Mad Scientist."
Allies: Queen Dara, Lillianna, Isolde, Break (maybe?).
Enemies: Anyone who threatens her Queen and family, anyone who interferes with her...research, the Thirst.
Race: Vampire (former human)
Birthplace: Alkheim, Northeast Borderlands
Powers/Abilities: Immortality and supernatural strength, speed, and senses as a Thirst-afflicted vampire, skilled in surgical medicine, organic chemistry, phlebotomy, and alchemy, among other scientific and medical disciplines, obsessive personality.
Bio: Mirabelle was born and raised in Alkheim, an academy city of alchemists who lived on the outskirts of Tenebrous for centuries.
Sired because Queen Dara saw a practical use for her arcane scientific expertise (which she literally has forever to pursue, as a vampire), Mirabelle now resides in the Queen's Tenebrous home of Crimsonwood Keep as one of her three precious Brides. In the Keep, Mirabelle has access to her Majesty's vast library (where she often encounters the young Isolde, immersed in one story or another), as well as her own fully equipped laboratory complex.
Mirabelle's vampiric bloodlust is matched (or perhaps exceeded) only by her curiosity. Already considered something of a mad scientist in her human life, as a vampire, she developed an insatiable desire to analyze the intricacies of human biology to further her alchemical studies and aid in her Queen's search for a cure.
Mirabelle is the morbid apotheosis of "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life;" her fascination with the workings of human bodies is equal to obsession, such that her "free time" is spent dissecting corpses, practicing transmutation magic, and indulging in other dark curiosities. She is driven to learn as much as possible about every organ, every system, and every mechanism down to a cellular level, and no body, living or dead, is the same in her eyes.
Mirabelle expresses a cold detachment towards most living mortals, and views herself as an artist in her own twisted way, using her unique gifts to create masterpieces with human flesh, as her Thirst-driven mind sees this as the only way to find a cure for vampirism.
Could the intriguing new mortal finally be the key she sought for so long, or will cutting too deep get her more that she bargained for?

Only I know the answer, so Stay Tuned for my Isolde design (but not the answer yet; the energy must be wearing off because that segue made no sense) coming soon to a blog...here.
Surprisingly, I passed ten thousand views already even though I barely posted anything this month. Thank you all for your patient engagement during my mental and virtual absence, and please continue to support me and what I do by Becoming A Ticketholder (none of you have yet), leaving a comment at the bottom of this post and any others you have opinions about, helping out my ad revenue as you read so I can afford more semicolons and energy drinks, and following me on BlueSky, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Patreon, and LinkedIn to like what you see and receive the latest news on my content.
