Time Drops #149: Month Of November 2026

Content Calendar Announcement,
Week of November 1, 2026
by Sean Wilkinson,
a.k.a. The Ticketmaster.

For the fifth month in a row now (despite me putting out almost no new content in October), Just the Ticket has surpassed my long-standing goal of ten thousand views, and a final tally for the month will be included in Monday's Dragon Blog Super.

So, yet another big thank you to my (growing) reading/sharing audience for continuing to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, being who you are, and doing what you do (unless what you do is farm and steal content for AI training).
It makes the challenges of real life weigh a little less because professional responsibility has not run out of ways to complicate my existence and wear down the façade that I am a well-adjusted, competent leader who can handle anything, do everything to the standard of my betters, and knows what it feels like to have a shit-eating grin on my face. Chocolate, not chocolate....
The reason for October being so thin on content, as you may remember, is that I had to devote my time to designing characters and finalizing the eight-chapter preview for Darkness In Crimson: I Reincarnated As Prey In A Fantasy World, So I Charmed the Vampire Queen, which I had planned to be my one thousandth post special and ultimately scheduled for publication this past Monday.
The rollout went off almost without a hitch, but I had to cancel my plans of watching the Hanako-kun anime and the Terrifier franchise for Halloween this year, and as you will see, I'm changing my November plans as well.
This will include resuming my Omnibusted/Retrospective coverage of the Unleashed event, a Just the Ticket × Anime Spotlight conclusion to the Goj-Year-ra project, a review I've been wanting to do for awhile, and semi-regular episode reviews of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus.
Since things have picked up traffic-wise this year, I've also decided to indefinitely move the goalpost so I'm walking the Road to 15k Views per month. It's a path I resolve to travel as many times as possible in the months and years ahead, even when the seasons become less conducive to foot-travel, and I'm glad to not be walking it alone.
So please remember to comment at the bottom of my Blogger posts, Become A Ticketholder because I know you haven't yet, share and care wherever you can, help out my ad revenue as you read, and follow me on BlueSky, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Patreon, and LinkedIn to like what you see and to receive the latest news on my content and calendars thereof.

Anime Spotlight #40: Date A Live

Image
Article by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Animeister Today, we're talking about Date A Live , a light-novel (though you wouldn't know it from the short title) written by Kōshi Tachibana that received a sequel, five spin-off manga , roughly five video games, and a five-season anime (because this series likes the number five, apparently) with two movies. I recently watched the final episode of the anime and decided to break my "I don't wanna read television" rule so I could give the movies (which still do not have dubs after all these years) a fair shake as well. Please give Just the Ticket a fair shake by remembering to  Become A Ticketholder  because you haven't already, leave your dating advice in the comments at the bottom of this post, help out my ad revenue as you read so my wallet doesn't invert from emptiness, and follow me on  Tumblr ,  Reddit ,  Facebook , and  LinkedIn  to like what you see and receive up-to- Date  news on my conte...

Anime Spotlight #75: I Was Reincarnated As the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability (2026 Update)

Image
Article by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Animeister. High, Ticketholders! Today is important for getting stoned (and for no other reason), and it's my second week of isekai anime in April, so I decided to cover the second season of I Was Reincarnated As the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability (for some reason), the first season of which I reviewed on July 15, 2024, prefaced by a tangent on the awkward linguistics and social stigma of being sibling-deficient, the cultural importance of long-winded names, and the number of nickels I'd have for anime about throne-distant isekai protagonists. Here's the review copy of that before I get into the second season, with a few edits: I Was Reincarnated As the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability (thank this series' one angel for predictive text) is obviously your usual novel/light-novel/ manga franchise publication salad, this time written by the awesomely named Kenkyo na Circ...

Time Drops #144: Month Of May, 2026

Image
Content Calendar Announcement, Week of May 3, 2026 by Sean Wilkinson, a.k.a. The Ticketmaster. You may have been expecting to see my review of Godzilla vs Megalon drop yesterday, and I did start writing it on Thursday after a grueling day of misinformation, missed connections, and mass transit, but I decided to put it off for a week and give my brain a few days of rest in preparation for the month when I get older, which it now is, so I have to come up with a plan for the content to come in the weeks ahead. As for the month gone by, according to the following image, Just the Ticket finished April nearly three hundred views short of my goal of ten thousand, as of 5pm Pacific Standard Time on April 30. But that figure is nothing to sneeze at (seasonal allergy pun not intended, but I'll take it), and my reading/sharing audience continues to be the best pseudo-silent minority on the internet, so thank you all for doing what you do. All I can do at this point is reset my goal for a n...
