The "month of love" officially began last week with my Ticket Stubs  review of Mr. & Mrs. Smith , and in addition to the new reviews of One Night At McCool's  (a Just the Ticket List Lookback ) and The Incredibles 2 , which will drop later this month, I am also going to be reviewing four anime in February that deal with romantic tension, love, familial bonds, and the power of the heart. And it all begins today with a series that (so far, because none of the Anime   I will Spotlight  this month are finished airing yet) has plenty of propriety-based romantic tension but no actual romance. February is off to a pretty strong start with the Ticket Stubs  on Mr. & Mrs. Smith , and I have the slide content for my Marketing capstone presentation at WGU done, which just leaves the script, the recording, and the editing. Good news continues at my paying job, getting a corporate shoutout at the latest conference call for my performance in the frozen aisle, cleaning out our massively backstocked walk-in freezer, doing light maintenance around the store, and filling in other stock positions as needed. As mentioned in  Ticket Stubs #54: National Treasure & Lord Of War , the reviews for today and next week's Valentine's-ish Ticket Stubs  selections fit into the "not able to find what issue number it came from" category. I know I wrote it some time between the  National Treasure  review and my review of  Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang  (which will be getting a  Ticket Stubs  release later this month), but I don't have an offline copy of the review anywhere, and it was most likely published on Yahoo! The Animeister This post wasn't scheduled in Saturday's Time Drops , but I got sucked into watching/listening to a YouTube video on the lore of the Street Fighter franchise on Sunday and it got me in a mood to do some speculation about Dragon Ball Super . From what I've seen and heard over the past year, there are some major shake-ups and power plays going on behind the scenes that are affecting how anime, manga , and video game content is being approached and will be approached in the future, such as the manga  adaptation of the Super Hero  movie (making this the first time a manga  has had filler?), the choice to keep to plots within Universe Seven for the time being, characters included in current mobile games, Xenoverse 2 , Super Dragon Ball Heroes , and the upcoming Sparking Zero , and the choice to go with the Daima  streaming series instead of adapting the post-T.O.P. arcs into anime form. I have a pretty full month of content ready for February, including some weekly  Ticket Stubs and Anime Spotlight  reviews, all of which I composed throughout a single week in January. My intention is to spend February focusing on my last Marketing course at WGU so that I can return to a more robust content creation schedule in March.
