2026 is here, Ticketholders!
I said pretty much everything that I wanted to say about 2025 in my State Of the Ticketverse post on Thursday, including my big plan for this year, so go read that if you haven't done so yet.
As for why I skipped out on reviewing Gojira (1954) yesterday, the short answer is that I'm in a bad place and I needed to breathe. Working on and consuming so much content has "required" a lot of caffeine (basically making myself an energy debtor), distanced me from my family, cost me valuable sleep, and turned me into someone I don't like being. Dealing with other people I don't like is one thing; trying to cope with not liking myself as a result of doing something I enjoy is an entirely different, more serious matter that can present itself in unpleasant ways. And while I am not of a mind to send myself Down the Rabbit Hole, so to speak, I am extremely likely to snap at people (customers) who decide not to be specific about what they want or speak to be heard when time is of the essence. Not only is that a detrimental attitude of mine with respect to sales, it brings upon me evidence that I am the problem, thereby making me question the purpose of my presence and further dislike myself.
So, yeah; I scaled things back to keep myself from becoming an angry, stressed out downer of an asshole. Unhappy people are less happy. Happy people are more happy. And happier people make a new year happier. It's a scientifically proven fact; news at eleven.
The future of the Gachiakuta review is uncertain because the dub season hasn't finished airing yet, so if time permits, I'll just watch it with Crunchyroll's terrible new subtitle system and fit it into the schedule you'll see later.
I still don't know what's going on with BlogPros right now, so I may have to cut ties with them and find another content promoting service if they don't respond by the end of the month, because you folks continue to be awesome regardless, and your engagement is priceless.
I will still be keeping you updated on my progress on a weekly basis, and doing TBT '26 (lazy and uncreative, I know) pushes on social media to promote my old posts one Thursday at a time (because communication and consistency still matter).

I mean, I liked the first two when they came out almost thirty years ago, which is why the third one disappointed me so much that I only ever watched it once and didn't even want to watch it for this review (but I watched the Children Of the Corn franchise and most of The Curse movies, so it's nothing by comparison). Anime Spotlight #50: My Hero Academia (2025 Update)

When I originally began this update in late January, the fourth My Hero Academia film had not been made available to stream anywhere, so I was content to merely continue where my thoughts on Season Six left off originally and wrap up this post with Season Seven. Then, I realized that I was too far removed from those seasons for my review to sound or feel like anything but a Wikipedia summary, so I pushed things back to May so I could rewatch them, except that I was already working on my  Fishman Island and Punk Hazard reviews, so I didn't have time to do that, and there was all that stress surrounding my phone , and Vigilantes started airing...so I pushed things back again , deciding that I would set a hard deadline of August once I knew Vigilantes had ended and the fourth movie was available on streaming. Zenescope - Omnibusted #36: Wonderland Volume One
