Time Drops #116: Week of August 31, 2025
![]() |
Content Calendar Announcement, Week of August 31, 2025 |
a.k.a. The Ticketmaster.
The month of Anime August is basically over, and it's been exhausting trying to fit all of these Anime Spotlight issues and Japanese or anime-inspired film reviews into a single week (including tomorrow's Cutie Honey Double-Feature, of which I've only watched one movie and written less than one review).
The other thing that's exhausting is the pressure that comes with being Employee Of the Month and trusting other people to do my job when I'm needed elsewhere or trying to enjoy my days off (which aren't usually days off because I have to do things like Adult and Be Needed and Care when I mostly just want to be a shut-in vegetable who over-eats and sweats into his bedsheets while watching anime and movies and writing until he passes out, like a normal person).
As such, I haven't made any further progress on Dexter: Resurrection, but I'm still on board after the first two episodes. The review will have to wait yet longer.
Also, there won't be a standalone Anime Spotlight or Just the Ticket this week because of the Double-Feature, my exhaustion, and my eagerness to get back to the normal content structure. My logic makes sense!
Keep reading after the calendar for more on my future content plans, and please remember to comment at the bottom of my Blogger posts, Become A Ticketholder because I know you haven't already, help out my ad revenue as you read because I can't rely on Employee Of the Month prizes to clear my debts, and follow me on social media at the links below to like what you see and to receive the latest news on my content and calendars thereof.

- I [Still] Know What You Did Last Summer, miniseries, 2025, & Book (I've started listening to the audiobook on the way to and from work this week because the legacyquel is available on streaming now and I might do the franchise as my September thing, or just draft it for next summer; I haven't committed yet)

- Black Christmas (next year)
- Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare
- Bambi: The Reckoning
- Shin Godzilla

And though I've yet to make any progress for various work, home, laziness, and writing other stuff reasons, I'd still like to cut together e-books of my GFT Retrospective reviews, with Zenescope's blessing.
Ticketmaster,
Out of energy.
