Time Drops #118: Week of September 14, 2025

Content Calendar Announcement,
Week of September 14, 2025
by Sean Wilkinson,
a.k.a. The Ticketmaster.

There are only so many ways and so many times that I can say I'm sick of working with and relying on twenty-something males who have so little common sense and such short attention spans that you have to explain everything to them but if anything takes more than one step to execute, they stop listening. Or they stop coming to work. Or they almost start a grease fire. Or any number of other reasons I want to just do the Drake meme and hope my store has fire insurance so I can sleep soundly without thinking about taking on other people's bullshit.
Since the world sucks and no one can think for themselves anymore unless it involves shooting Trump associates in the facial vicinity because the beginning of this sentence, and nothing in my life has changed in the past week, I thought I'd do something different because, as I've been saying a lot this year, I'm in charge here (if nowhere else), and I can do whatever I want.
I mean, there was that day where I suddenly had eight hundred views overnight, which was awesome and I'm sorry my brain has chosen to be angry and toxic about things and people beyond my control instead of embracing such joyous surprises. But in the face of my own growing toxicity, I must control what I am able, and content like this is my safe space, so to speak. Alliteration!

So, having spent an intro I said I wasn't going to write explaining why I wasn't going to write it because my brain makes sense, I will now do something different by doing what I always do, and ask that you keep reading after the calendar for more on my future content plans, and please remember to comment at the bottom of my Blogger posts, Become A Ticketholder because I know you haven't since at least last summer, help out my ad revenue as you read because I can't rely on Employee Of the Month prizes to clear my debts, and follow me on social media at the links below to like what you see and to receive the latest news on my content and calendars thereof.
Here it is:
  • Monday (September 15) - Anime Spotlight #62: Teogonia
  • Tuesday (September 16) - Stay Tuned #59: I Know What You Did Last Summer
  • Wednesday (September 17) - Zenescope - Omnibusted #35: Call Of Wonderland
  • Thursday (September 18) - TBT '25 (on BlueSky, Tumblr, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn): Oldboy & Nebraska
  • Saturday (September 20) - Time Drops #119: Week of September 21, 2025
Okay; here's the different part: a progress report! I've finished watching Teogonia and I am halfway done composing the review, which will probably be more intellectual than most of my Spotlight posts. I watched the finale of I Know What You Did Last Summer early yesterday morning and haven't gotten past the asset stage, but based on the thoughts swirling in my head, I intend that review to be brief and scathing. I'm a few pages into re-reading Call Of Wonderland, and decided I would need some Lovecraft context before continuing. So, I hunted down an audiobook of Call Of Cthulhu (which I got about halfway through as of this writing, and will use for next Tuesday's Cover Charge content). The majority of my posts that I've boosted for TBT '25 these past few months had no assets or links, so I've been curating or making banner assets for them (I'm particularly proud of the one I did for Posse In Demand, but this week's will be pretty fun, too—an odd word choice considering the two movies I reviewed back then). So that leaves two and a half reviews to write, one old one to edit, some reading (and "reading"), and a whole week to plan what I'm going to do next week. No pressure.

For my own mental health and SMART-ness going forward, and your information, here's what the future holds:
  • GFT Retrospective
    • Future
      • Myths & LegendsBeauty & the Beast
      • More Wonderland! (Like, it's going to be my focus for the next few months of the Retrospective)
      • Neverland: Hook (and an Omnibusted Omnibus)
      • Jungle Book(s)
      • Robyn Hood!
      • The Lockdown!
      • Bad Girls!
  • Anime Spotlight
    • Go, Go, Loser Ranger!
    • Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun
  • Stay Tuned
    • Dexter: Resurrection
  • Just the Ticket
    • Knives Out & Glass Onion
    • When A Stranger Calls
    • Black Christmas (next year)
    • Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare
    • Bambi: The Reckoning
    • Shin Godzilla
    • I [Still] Know What You Did Last Summer [2025]
  • December & Christmas (with the exception of the GFT Retrospective, I'm taking November off just so I can watch all of this):
    • Stay Tuned: X-Men TAS & '97 Season 1
    • Just the Ticket: It's Alive!
  • Big Projects
    • Cover Charge: Harmon Universe
    • AniMonday Original: Darkness In Crimson - I Reincarnated As Prey In A Fantasy World, So I Charmed the Vampire Queen
And though I've yet to make any progress for various work, home, laziness, and writing other stuff reasons, I'd still like to cut together e-books of my GFT Retrospective reviews, with Zenescope's blessing.

Ticketmaster,
Out.
