Time Drops #117: Week of September 7, 2025
![]() |
Content Calendar Announcement, Week of September 7, 2025 |
a.k.a. The Ticketmaster.
The month of Anime August ended with a boom of traffic that sadly trickled off with my return to a normal-ish content schedule this past week. The disappointing thing that went along with this was that, in promoting last Saturday's Time Drops post, I also included polls where possible (Tumblr, Instagram, and YouTube) and invited my Ticketholders to comment about whether I should review the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise this month or save it for next July. No comments anywhere, and such poor poll engagement that I just ended up voting to break two-vote and zero-vote ties like a loser. You'll see what I ultimately decided later on in this post.
In other, less appointing news (that's like the incremental version of disappointing, because words mean things and prefixes exist), being Employee Of the Month still sucks because I can't trust people half my age to do my job when I'm needed elsewhere or trying to enjoy my days off (which have been full of accomplishments this week, like mowing my "lawn"—a patchy gopher buffet of weeds and crabgrass—and taking overdue care of my personal hygiene).
Said accomplishments also included watching another episode of Dexter: Resurrection, so now, I'm still on board after the first three episodes. The review will have to wait yet longer because editing previous posts to reflect new information results in awkward prose that makes me sound like a pretentious, Shakespearean twunt.
Keep reading after the calendar for more on my future content plans, and please remember to comment at the bottom of my Blogger posts, Become A Ticketholder because I know you haven't since at least last summer, help out my ad revenue as you read because I can't rely on Employee Of the Month prizes to clear my debts, and follow me on social media at the links below to like what you see and to receive the latest news on my content and calendars thereof.
